WHAT TO AVOID
Do not try to find out the problem or root of their depression. Respecting their efforts to make it to a session is enough support.
Do not try to immediately recommend a workout plan/activity schedule. Work at their pace as interests in activities is still very low at this point.
Do not encourage any use of equipment. Suicidal thoughts and self harm are common during this period and safety measures must be put in place.
